Position: Business Development Manager, Full-Time
Location: Hong Kong

Are you great with B2B sales and promoting services in a value-adding manner? Would you like to learn about the translation industry while building and nurturing your own client portfolio? Then you might just be the Business Development Manager we’re looking for!

At DataSource we aim to help businesses reach new horizons with our range of translation and media services. We help adapt any kind of marketing, technical, financial or legal content to 80+ languages using a network of 1000+ professional translators and 400+ voice talents. We serve more than 2000 clients worldwide (from small businesses to global retailers and brands) within a dynamic and fast-paced
environment.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop your own client portfolio through prospection, attending tradeshows, and cold-calling
  • Understand DataSource’s service offering and competitive advantages for each industry, and target one or several of these industries
  • Present our services in the most professional manner by matching our services to the prospects’ needs
  • In coordination with Sales Management, identify, qualify, develop, and close sales opportunities
  • Work with our Operations Team to ensure client satisfaction and towards developing further business
  • Keep prospect and client information updated in our CRM tool
  • Track metrics to ensure targets are hit
  • Respect and follow DataSource’s 4 Core Values

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent
  • Experience with B2B sales (1 to 2 years). Knowledge or contacts in retail, marketing, technical or any industry that we serve will be a plus.
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese (verbal written and verbal). Mandarin or any additional language will be a plus.
  • Good speaker / presenter
  • Outgoing and dare to try spirit
  • Activity to constantly look for new prospects
