    Position: Content Strategist / Content Marketing Manager
    Location: Hong Kong
    Reports to: Managing Director

    Position Purpose

    The purpose of this role is to help drive the overall external marketing program for DataSource across multiple platforms and formats to drive sales, engagement, retention, leads and positive customer behaviour.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop & strategically execute a marketing plan, including content and digital strategies, identifying target markets/clients
    • Mapping out a content strategy that supports and extends marketing initiatives, both short- and long-term
    • Creating relevant content for a variety of platforms including blogs, websites, and social media
    • Ensuring all marketing content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice
    • Leveraging project successes and market research to develop content themes/topics and execute a content and
      communication plan to promote the firm’s expertise and service
    • Review existing marketing content, online and offline, to identify gaps with an aim to create
    • Ensuring that SEO and SMO strategies are effectively implemented
    • Manage a content calendar and to ensure that the content remains consistent across all platforms
    • Responsible for creating new contents for proposals and pitch documents
    • Implement and oversee social media accounts where appropriate across a variety of platforms to build brand equity, to ensure brand consistency and to support our business objectives
    • Be able to develop actionable business opportunities from analysis of data from marketing program/digital strategy
    • Keeping up to date with content trends, consumer preferences, and advancements in technology

     

    Required Capabilities

    Experience
    5+ year’s content marketing experience

     

    Competence & Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in literature, journalism, marketing, communications, or similar
    • A minimum of five years of experience in content creation, marketing, communications, or similar
    • Basic SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement
    • A portfolio of published work
    • Familiarity with content management systems
    • Good knowledge of content and layout design tools such as InDesign
    • Excellent computer skills with MS Office
    • Good knowledge of various content platforms such as social media, blogs, and print media
    • Strong understanding of content practices such as SEO, SMO, and PPC
    • The ability to keep abreast of content and consumer trends and advancements in technology
    • Fluent English, both written and verbal, is a MUST
    • Result-oriented and self-motivated
    • Team player but at the same time who can work independently
